(source: hatfield house) the other wonderful part of such visit is that the english gardens – ok not french – are always beautiful. erm……….and what do you do in beautiful gardens on a sunny day? well just have a picnic on the grounds- so at some point saturday afternoon, i will pick up some“charcuterie” and cheese from harrods food halls, few shiny santini tomatoes, nice and fresh french baguette, english strawberries, a bottle of rose or champaign and off we go for a royal picnic. isn’t’ it grand? just love it! but as a warmup tonight, we are going to head to the v&a for the friday late and for adults there will be coktails at hand- « drinks partner bombay sapphire will be serving cocktails infused with imagination from their specially designed imagination bar in the john madejski garden and classic bombay sapphire cocktails in the grand entrance for the evening »- although we’ve already had few drinks last night over dinner with some good friends. never mind just party hard! have a lovely weekend! pas de commentaire 24 juillet 2011 peace publié par gasyladyinthecity dans music pas de commentaire 22 juillet 2011 sample sale- matthew williamson publié par gasyladyinthecity dans sample sale matthew williamson sample sale today only, cannot be missed! (source: matthew williamson) pas de commentaire 19 juillet 2011 celebration publié par gasyladyinthecity dans bars , restaurants hey, i am back !!! don’t worry, my frivolous life hasn’t stopped at all, it is just that i have to manage some other priorities right now. tonight, i am taking dearest hubbie out for a very special occasion….erm, and i thought i’d share the places with you because they are just worth mentioning and amazing. fine dining is a must, isnt’it? dinner then it would be at the very gauthier soho , yes one of the numerous french 1 michelin star restaurants in the city. i know i do love michelin stars restaurants, not because i am a snotty, he, he, he, just because of the whole enjoyable and sophisticated experience and gorgeous food…..i will let you discover the restaurant by yourself. and guess what i’m gonna have for sure……foie gras…. would kill for it. i know some people think that it is cruel, sorry it is part of the french culture…….yummy. (source: gauthier soho) it happens that alexis gauthier is the father of one little boy in my boy’s class, of course, the risk with sending your kids to the lycee francais de londres is that you have huge probabilities to mix with all sorts of people, mostly french high profiles- shush….. (source: juliet dunn) and space nk, the legendary shop where you can find all your beauty fix, ladies! what: space nk why: up to 50 per cent off beauty products, including diptyque, rodial, laura mercier and more. when: 23-25 june. thurs. & fri., 8 a.m.-8 p.m.; sat., 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. where: the music room, 26 s. molton ln., w1k 5ab. pas de commentaire 17 juin 2011 weekend guide- 17/06 publié par gasyladyinthecity dans week-end guide well, in london this weekend……. very simple, the weather as usual, typical wimbledon weather- is gonna be appalling. so either you stay indoors and be miserable or just go to a garden party/ pique nique chic at the beautiful chelsea physic garden - h ave you noticed that i find everything fab, gorge, beaut…….that’s just me, sometimes i am even fascinated just breathing… back to the rain, it might be nice to sip a pimm’s around- very british summer drink -in your hunter wellies- of course you are in chelsea and you have to have your hunter! and your brollie but please, a stylish one. how’s that? jolly good, so that’s the sat gone and sunday i’ll leave it up to you, my kiddies have judo competition and of course nice lunch to treat daddy- and i found this hilarious card saying- “daddy, you are the king of the castle- when mummy’s not around”, so true!! of course i am the queen and i, rule, he, he,he… happy father’s day !! pas de commentaire 17 juin 2011 weekend guide- paris publié par gasyladyinthecity dans paris hey parrrris! i know it’s been such a long time but i have little things going on right now in my personal life so bit difficult to keep on track. what would i do if i was in paris this weekend? -by the way i really need to plan a long weekend in paris soon……….so many things to do. well, i would def go to the anish kappoor’s
